When we were at the hospital having Milo, a bereavement volunteer came after he was born. She had a diaper, hat, and blanket for him. She did hand and foot prints, helped us take pictures, and did casts of his hands and is feet. It really meant a lot to us and have us priceless memories and momentos.
I've found that sewing has been very therapeutic for me, and I wanted to give back. I talked to the volunteer and she said she really needed some gowns. In honor of Milo and his due date, I made my first donation. It was so fun to see the little sets coming together and to know they will bring a little bit of light on another family's dark day.
