This is the place where everyone from every walk of life comes together for funnel cake, crazy rides, impossible games, "thrilling" shows, and farm animals. Oh, County Fair...there are no words.

We had a blast playing at the pool with my family. We made it to the pool in Chester, and then were lucky enough to have a pool at our beach house.

While on vacation, Hailey had tons of fun playing with Aunt Marley, Marley's friends, and a couple of my cousins. She thought she was so grown up.

We Survived Hurricane Earle

Of course, while we were at the beach, the hurricane came to visit. It wasn't expected to be too bad, but the island had a mandatory evacuation just to be on the safe side. Here is what it looked like the morning before we left...


And here is what we found when we got back...

The beach was littered with tires. We thought that was kind of strange. We talked to a policeman driving by (on the beach) and he said they use them to build reefs on the ocean floor. Most of the tires were normal sized, but there was this one huge tractor tire that was COVERED with sea life. Some creatures were able to drop off and get washed back to sea, but sadly, most of them probably died in the hot sun. It was a pretty neat experience though.
