Let it be known...
...that Erin, detester of all dresses, put on her dress this morning, spun in a circle, declaring, "I am a princess!" Followed by, "Mom, I love my dress."
(Note: She has worn this dress many times, to her own disliking. I guess we are entering a new phase.)

Kindergarten Pictures!
So, today is Hailey's kindergarten school pictures. She was looking mighty cute this morning, so I decided to take a few of my own.
Erin wanted her picture taken too. Well, her and her baby.

Peach Picking
A local orchard had some "U-Pick" days, so on Labor Day, we went peach picking! The girls thought it was pretty great.

Camping
Hailey has been begging to go camping in the camper. Finally, we did! A couple weekends ago, we made a maiden voyage. We stayed close by just to make sure everything was working properly with the camper. (Besides all the plumbing and gas. Right now it's just a big tent.)
It was so great. The weather was overcast and a bit drizzly, so there wasn't many other people there. We practically had the place to ourselves, and it was awesome. Hailey could ride her bike around the loop and they also had a little playground.
That evening we made a fire and sat back and relaxed (next time we will take stuff for s'mores). The girls loved the fire. (The first thing Erin asked for when she woke up in the morning was to "watch fire.")
The next day we hung out a bit, explored along the river and the primitive camping areas. It was so nice to "get away" for a few hours.
Now on to fixing all the plumbing, getting a new toilet, bug bombing, and putting in new flooring...

Shades of Grey, With a Pop of Color!
I thought I'd try out a new accessory.
It's been a long, drawn out process, but it was finally determined that I have a stress fracture in my foot. Fun times.....

Happy Birthday, Josh!
We celebrated Josh's birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was really excited this year about his birthday because I had a couple of surprises for him. (I am soooo terrible at keeping surprises a secret, but I did it!)
I think he had a good birthday. We love you, babe.
