A Name...Finally....

Erin Michele Gubler

"Baby Daisy"

She has arrived...

6.28.11 - 7lb 7oz - 21in

Her name isn't really "Daisy", but it became a nickname while I was preggers. I never thought I'd have a baby I couldn't name. Hopefully today we will find the right one.

Happy Father's Day!

"God bless you, dear fathers. May He bless you with wisdom and judgment, with understanding, with self-discipline and self-control, with faith and kindness and love. And may He bless the sons and daughters who have come into your homes, that yours may be a fortifying, strengthening, guiding hand as they walk the treacherous path of life. As the years pass—and they will pass ever so quickly—may you know that "peace... which passeth all understanding" (Philip. 4:7) as you look upon your sons and daughters, who likewise have known that sacred and wonderful peace. Such is my humble prayer, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen."

~Gordon B. Hinckley

Happy Father's Day....Joshua, Jeff, Todd, Ralph, and all other dads and grandpas in our lives...

I Sleep in My Bed All Night Long

The last couple of months, we have had a hard time keeping Hailey in her bed all night long. So, we came up with a chart for her. Each night she sleeps in her bed all night long she gets a sticker. After 10 nights of success, then she gets to pick whatever she wants from the Dollar Tree. Well, yesterday was our first trip to the dollar store. She was so excited that she completed her chart. After going through 3 or 4 things, she finally picked a flower shaped cookie on a stick.

Birthday Festivities!

This year Hailey had 2 birthday parties. We had a small family gathering on her actual birthday, and then she had a friend party a couple of weeks later. (We wanted to make a big deal for her since the baby will be here soon.)

We had big plans for the friend party, but the weather pooped out on us and we couldn't have pool time. But, the kids seemed to have an awesome time. We played at our new neighborhood playground, but I think the biggest hit was the kids decorating their own cupcakes.

I was so excited about her cake. Especially the dog on the top. I found a lady online that makes fancy cakes and she gave us a really good deal on a "smash" cake. (Then a week later I realized someone in our neighborhood makes them! Next year...) But it turned out super cute. I emailed her a picture of Hailey's favorite animal--Scraps--and the lady made one just like him. It was awesome.
