Hee Haw Farms

Last year we missed the Halloween festivities because we were all sick. So this year, we made sure to hit up something fun. We went to Hee Haw Farms and it was so much fun. There were a bunch of activities: big slides, horse swings, petting zoo, animal train, corn box.... We missed the hayride and pumpkin patch because it got too dark, but we still had an awesome time.

"Repeat" Misunderstood

Hailey: "I want some cereal."
"Can I have some cereal?"
"I want cereal."

Josh: "You repeat yourself a lot."

Hailey: "Yeah. I peed on my animals too."
"And my blanket."

(Background: This incident occurred right after Hailey climbed into her bin of animals with a dirty diaper, which then leaked on her animals.)

Hiking in Provo Canyon

Last Saturday we decided to brave the cold and go hiking. Turned out to be awesome. We wandered around near the Rock Canyon Camp Grounds.








Hailey wanted to take some pictures, so we decided to try and get a picture of me and Josh. Here is what we got...









She got a couple of good ones...seeing as how she doesn't actually look through the viewfinder. We kept moving, trying to get in front of the lens. I'm sure it was a sight to see. Good job Hailey.

Marley's Big Day

This past Saturday my little sister got baptized. Sadly we weren't able to make it out for the occasion, but we are so excited for her!

Congratulations, Marley! Thanks for being a great example.

Eating Trees

This is the conversation Hailey and Josh had today on the way home from church...

Josh: "Do you want some lunch?"

Hailey: "Yeah."

Josh: "What do you want to eat?"

Hailey: "Trees."

Josh: "You wanna eat trees?"

Hailey: "Yeah."

Josh: "I've never eaten a tree. What do they taste like?"

Hailey: "They taste like oatmeal."

Josh: "They taste like oatmeal?"

Hailey: "Yeah."

Josh: "Yummy, yummy oatmeal?"

Hailey: "No, it's not oatmeal!"

Josh: "It's a tree that tastes like oatmeal?"

Hailey: "Yeah."

Josh: "Does that give you funny poop?"

Hailey: "Yeah, when I poop the trees laugh."

Josh:...laughing

Hailey: "When I laugh, the trees poop...they have big butts."

Nap Time

Hailey has gotten in the habit of getting out of bed and playing with her toys during nap time. After a little while, she ends up falling asleep on the floor. Just now, I went to check on her silence. Lucky for both of us, I noticed this before opening the door...

I about fell on the floor laughing. Guess I won't be able to rub her back to wake her up at 5.

"Doerint"

At lease we are teaching her a little bit about hygiene...



When I found her in her room, she was covering her arms.
