Balloon Festival

The 5th we got up early to make it to the balloon festival. It's such a fun event.

For the last 3 or 4 years, we have been going up on the side of the mountain to watch the fireworks all over the valley. (Great solution for kids who don't like loud noises.) I've really started loving going up there. Beautiful view. Beautiful sunset. We are usually there by ourselves for an hour or so, until the fireworks really start going.

St. George Splash Pad

On the way back from LA, I promised the we could stop in St. George and play at the splash pad. (Hailey asks regularly to go there.) Traffic was crazy bad on the drive back, so we didn't get there until 7. After letting the girls play for a while, I decided I couldn't drive 3+ more hours in the dark. So, we gave our friends the Keeles a last minute call and they said "Come on over!"

Last Minute Trip to LA

Josh had scout camp last week, so the girls and I thought we'd drive down to LA and hang out with the Shaws and Becks. -Best decision ever.- We had such a blast. Love those guys!

My cousin Cliff moved to LA about a year ago. We haven't seen each other in a few years, and were able to get together for dinner. So fun to see them! Thanks for making time for us, Cliff & Amber!

Pops Visits

Pops came out and stayed with us for a week. We did lots of playing and a few fun projects.

Little Wild Horse Canyon

A few weeks ago we decided to venture down south to Little Wild Horse Canyon.
