Yogurt, anyone?

While I was cleaning up breakfast, Erin got a hold of her bowl of yogurt..

I decided to let her keep at it while I cleaned the kitchen, and after a little while she decided she was done...

Bath, please...

Biker Girl

Last year Hailey got a balance bike for her birthday. It has been like pulling teeth to try and get her interested in riding a bike. I was losing all hope in our future family bike rides, but yesterday things changed. She said she wanted to try and ride her bike....and her interest lasted for about 30min instead of 3sec. She started to really figure it out and did such a good job!

Today she decided she wanted to do it again. And she did great. I can tell she will get the hang of it soon. She seems rather pleased with herself and that she is learning how to do something new.

After about 5min out, she remembered that
she needed to go get her helmet.

Easter

We had a bunch of Easter festivities this year. Our friends, the Watts, invited us over for an egg hunt on Saturday. The kids had a blast and got lots of candy.

Ty Ty was lovin' his chocolate.
Later that evening we colored Easter eggs...this was the first year that most of our eggs didn't turn out brown.

Easter Morning...The girls woke up early, as usual. I told Hailey that when I went downstairs to get her a drink there were eggs all over the house. I asked her how our colored eggs got out of the fridge and spread all over. Her answer? "Erin."  After finding eggs and baskets, we had a yummy breakfast with Papa, Aunt Kelcie, Uncle Olin, and Olin's sister Kate.

For Easter dinner we had a yummy picnic at the park with the Blumes and Knapps.

Hailey and Grandpa Knapp watched this spider for 10-15min. It was pretty adorable.

Ready. Set. Go. (Some of those eggs have $$ in them)

Hailey poured water on Dennis and then screamed and ran. It was so funny.

Roomies!

Our girls are now roommates! Erin finally started sleeping through the night, so we kicked her out of our room and put her in with Hailey. It has been awesome. Now both girls sleep longer than they used to. Hailey used to get up between 5:30 and 6:30am and Erin would get up at about 6:30. Now, they both sleep 'til about 7. I don't know why it works that way, but we're not complaining.

One of Hailey's favorite things to do is to climb in bed with Erin and play with her after she wakes up.

We are so glad they like each other.
