Josh spent part of the weekend in Moab canyoneering with some friends. On Saturday they did Granary Canyon. There are no injuries to report other than a bit of sunburn.

Easter Dress

Happy Easter

Easter is my favorite Holiday, both religiously and commercially. And what was even better, was that General Conference fell on Easter, so we had the opportunity to listen to the Prophet and Apostles speak on Easter. It was great. And I'm thankful for all the things we got to hear and learn.

We also had some fun "commercial" Easter festivities. This morning when we got up, Hailey got to look for eggs. She was really excited when we told her we were going to go downstairs and look for them. She had a hard time waiting while Josh went downstairs to set up the camera and such. But she was a trooper and stuck it out. She got way too much stuff in her basket. I thought she would love the Dora pjs the best, but they were trumped by an egg filled with fruit snacks.





We went to the Blumes for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. There was a bunch of people over and it was lots of fun.

Josh was practicing portrait lighting. They turned out awesome.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Tonight was Hailey's first time coloring Easter eggs and it was a hit. She thought it was great, and we got a big kick out of it. She would stick her whole hand in to get the eggs in and out of the colors. After the first soak, Josh showed her how to do a two-toned egg. She then proceeded to play musical cups, so all of the eggs have a brown tint to them. It was awesome.

Last night we had another smoke photo shoot. It was lots of fun. Here are some of our outcomes. More probably to come.

Easter Egg Hunt

This week for playgroup we had an Easter egg hunt. Hailey has never done one before and once she figured out there were treats inside the eggs, she was hooked.

It took about 3 minutes for the kids to find all 10 of their eggs.



Then they dug in for the snacks.
