Painting

I've been working on finishing up the girls' rooms. (Soooo close). I wanted to put some of their own art up, so here they are, creating! I love how they draw pictures of our family, so that was my theme. Erin decided to take it in a different direction, but Hailey stuck with it. They both did an awesome job! The final reveal will have to come with their bedroom reveal.

Summer Swimming

I was ranting to Kelcie in the early spring about how I just wanted a rectangle pool to take the kids too. Why do all the pools have all these bells and whistles? It's just exhausting. Her response was, "Let's go to Betty's pool." So, we spent multiple afternoons at Betty's house swimming. It was incredible. Her house is on the mountain bench and the pool overlooks the valley. Incredibly breathtaking. It wasn't crowded. And, it gave Hailey the courage to start putting her head under water. I am super proud of the progress she has made! We had such a blast and got to hang out with people we love! I didn't get a ton of pictures, so these will have to do.

Blue

One night, around 10pm, Erin walked into our room. (She should have been asleep long ago...) One of her hands was mostly blue!

We asked, "Erin, why is your hand blue?"

Her response, "I didn't know if I liked me blue."

Can't argue with that!

Erin's Birthday!

I'm way behind on posting. Erin's birthday was at the end of June. She was soooo excited to be 4! She told me for months that she wanted a Mike Wazowski piñata. Then she decided that she just wanted the 4 of us to do it before family came over to celebrate. It was pretty adorable. Her big present this year was a "big girl" bike. She was sooooo excited and refers to it as her "fast bike." (It has flames on it.)
