Sledding

Today we went up to Spanish Oaks golf course and went sledding. It was awesome. Hailey loved it and we all had a good time. Hailey even went down by herself.

This kid loves to eat snow. Seriously, it's an obsession.

She loves to drive the truck.

Not kidding, we were riding home and Hailey just decided to start counting and she made it to 9. We were shocked. She usually just gets to 2, maybe 3.

Playing with Lily

This week we have been watching Lily and it has been lots of fun. Hailey thinks Lily is funny and wants to do everything that Lily does. It's pretty adorable. They have enjoyed playing together. Yesterday we did an art project and made tambourines.

They are pretty good musicians.

They also like singing along to a cd of kids songs. Here they are doing "The Wheels on the Bus."

Date Night

Friday night, Josh and I had a date night after Hailey went to bed. We took about 400 pictures of smoke. It might not sound like it, but it was really super fun.

"Watch Peaches"

We Skype with my family on a regular basis because they want to see how Hailey is growing. It has become pretty funny. For Hailey it has turned into more of a TV show. During the day she will look at the computer and say "watch Peaches," "watch Papa." She doesn't understand that they actually have to be home in order to talk to her.

Before we call them, she will talk and talk about how she wants to talk to different people, but as soon as we get connected she goes silent and just watches. It's hilarious.

Marley thinks it's great to be a movie star.

Christmas Adventures

**Warning: Lots of pictures.**

We had a lot of fun this Christmas. Hailey was hilarious. We thought she would be really excited Christmas morning, but - for the most part - she wasn't really interested. We walked downstairs and she saw all the presents under the tree and just looked really confused. Josh and I acted all excited and Hailey's reply was "milk." After we sat there while she drank her milk, we tried to get her to open a few presents. It took some effort, then she said "bekfast." So we took a break and made breakfast. Afterwards breakfast, she got a little more into it. At least until she just wanted to play with what she had already opened.

We started a new Christmas tradition this year. We had a birthday party!! It was awesome. Christmas Eve we made a cake and Christmas evening some of Josh's family came over for some food and games. We had pizza & cake, played "pin the nose on the snowman", and put together a nativity and sang Christmas Hymns.

The cake...

Check out Hailey's straw extension.

While I put the frosting on, Hailey took it off.

The party...

Sunday, Hailey wore her cute Christmas dress. My mom made this dress....25 years ago. Yup, I wore it when I was Hailey's age.

The week after Christmas, we had Christmas with Josh's family. It was fun times.
