Enjoying Window Seats

Both the girls have a window seat in their rooms. It was a main selling point for Hailey.

Bird Houses

Hailey filled her treasure box. And as a reward, she picked a bird house she could build and paint. We got a little one for Erin too. The girls are so proud of their bird houses, and love to see them hanging up in the front yard.

100th Day of School!

Since day 1 or school, Hailey's teacher has been preparing their class for the 100th day of school, and their 100th day party. I was lucky enough to get to help with the party. We counted to 100 many many times in a bunch of different fun activities. Hailey thought it was great. And, we made a shirt just for the occasion. Nothing better than Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint!

Shop Vac

Hailey discovered the shop vac. And, she thinks it is the most amazing thing to suck up cobwebs. She helped me in the lawnmower shed, and Josh gave her free reign in the shop. (Erin turns it on and off for her.) Goodbye spiders!

Swimming in the tub!

It's too cold to go swimming outside, so why not in the tub? Next time we might try the master bath instead.

Sundaes for Reading

Hailey has a monthly reading chart. She is supposed to read 20minutes every day. She gets tickets for reading a certain number of days each week, but she doesn't actually get those until the end of the year when they have their reading carnival.

We were pretty bad about reading every day. We decided we needed a better incentive. We decided that if we read every single day (no missing!), that we could have ice cream sundaes. Well, we did it! Hailey was so excited and kept saying "I've never had a sundae before!" She was not disappointed...

New House!

We have a new house! And, we LOVE it!

We've been in the house for about a month, and it's been fantastic. It's in Provo. It's a 4bed 3bath. Playroom. Lots of windows. Oversized 2Car garage. Big backyard. Playhouse and swing set. Shop that will be our studio.

This is the only picture we have so far. I'll try to get some more when it's warmer and prettier outside. We have lots of projects and painting to do inside, so those will trickle in as we finish things.

The girls have their own rooms, which has been heaven. Josh is really close to work, so when the weather is warm, he can ride his bike. And, it has a huge master bathtub.

Visitors welcome!
