9 Months!
Unbelievably, Hailey is 9 months old today! She is growing up so fast and becoming such a little person. She's so much fun. We went to the doctor yesterday for her check up and she is fantastic: 19lbs 12oz, 27in long and very healthy (other than her current cold). Here are some facts about our little one these days...
She is crawling! You saw the video previously, but here is a great picture of her bear bum. She crawls on her hands and her feet. She is getting quite fast.
She LOVES standing up. We spend many hours of the day standing up, sitting down, standing up, sitting down... (In this particular picture, she stood up from leaning on the steps. She suddenly realized she didn't have anything to hold onto and hugged the wall for dear life.)
- Now when she does things, you can tell she has a goal in mind.
- She likes to brush her hair and mom's hair.
- She loves to play "peek-a-boo."
- She has become attached to her white silky bedtime blanket.
- She LOVES to play with dad. He is very entertaining.
- She is a great eater of both veggies and fruits.
- When having her diaper changed, she insists on being in any position other than laying on her back. (Fun times...)
- She is quite a babbler and tells great stories.
- She likes to talk on her play phone.
- She loves to dance. Whenever an upbeat song comes on the radio, she starts bouncing and does this hilarious little head sway.
- She's a tummy sleeper.
There are probably many more things, but our brains are tired. We are having such a great time with our sweet pea. She is such a happy baby and we can't get enough of her.

Nap Time
So now that Hailey can go from laying down to sitting up by herself, she tends to sit up in bed and scream when we lay her down for a nap. It really is quite precious. She sits in the middle of her bed, clutches her blanket to her chest and screams. So yesterday I put her in her bed for a nap, and the crying ensued. It only lasted about 5 minutes, so I went in to check on her and see if she was really asleep. This is what I found.

She slept like that for about an hour.

She slept like that for about an hour.
