"I don't wanna take a bath!"

One morning, Erin threw a fit when I told her it was time for a bath. She was soooooo not interested. Then, she got very excited when I said, "Hey, let's get on our swimsuits and go swimming in mom's big tub!" Then, she got even more excited when we added bubbles!.....one win for mom.....

Mmmmm.......I'm pretty in love with having an apple tree. Apple butter? Yes, please. 

1st Grade Picture Day!

"This is how I'm going to smile at school!"

"Grandpa ate all my diapers!"

Papa was always bugging Erin about still wearing diapers. So, one evening when everyone was at our house, Papa says to Erin "I'm going to eat your diapers!" And then he ran off to find one. Erin ran screaming behind him and chased him all over the house. 

Later that night, when I was getting Erin ready for bed, I said "Ok, let's change your diaper." To which she replied. "Grandpa ate all my diapers. I don't have anymore. I want to wear panties." Honestly I was a little bugged. Seriously, the first time she wants to wear panties is right before bedtime. I was planning on a night of many wet interruptions.  I was very pleasantly surprised when she woke up dry! So, thanks Papa! 

Our little lady loves being a big girl! And anytime anyone asks her how old she is she always includes, "Grandpa ate all my diapers. I wear big girl panties."

Tie-Dye Party

The day before school we hosted a tie-dying party to celebrate the end of summer. We had a great turn out!
